Hello OSF Members,
Welcome to Pre-Summer!
As we brace for (or look forward to ... depending on your perspective) the onset of a bustling tourist season, let us practice living in a state of neutrality ... no judgement ... just a noticing of what is and trusting that things will work out for the best.
Neutrality sits in the middle of "The Map of Consciousness" as developed by David R. Hawkins and is the minimum state of resonance we should accept for ourselves in order to stay in our integrity and maintain a sense of wellbeing. And trust me, (I know) ... it does take practice - LOl!
Meantime, there's a lot of "helping out in the community" and "raising great children" going on in Sneads Ferry - and that's worth discovering, celebrating and honoring as locals.

Dixon Middle School - Odyssey of the Mind - Out-Reach
Our DMS's Odyssey of the Mind Team (AND Coastal Elementary's OM Team) has advanced to the World Finals!
Now they need our support in the way of donations, sponsorships, and raffle items to help pay the travel expenses to Ames, Iowa at the end of this month.
· Their fundraising endeavors will be posted on the OSF Events page
· First one is at Ricks Restaurant on May 7th
· AND they'll be a participant at May 15 Bingo!
· OSF Members, do what you can to help these kids make this exciting and life changing journey.

New School - This Fall
Heritage Christian Academy with grades K-8th will be a new private school opening at Folkstone Original Free Will Baptist Church this fall.
· Initially there will be space for 70 students with plans for expansion through the years.
· Enrollment is now open.

JUNE EVENT
DHS Baccalaureate - Sunday, 6/7/26 - 3PM
Page Highsmith, Principal of Dixon High School, has opened up the Auditorium for our Sneads Ferry Pastors' group to offer a special Baccalaureate service for our class of 2026.
· Graduates will wear their caps and gowns and process in.
· The ceremony will include a speaker, special music, and reading of the scripture.
· The Gideons will present graduates with a copy of the Scriptures.
· A reception will follow.
Please announce to your graduates and save the date for this Christian opportunity for our young people.
